Jimmie Women’s Soccer Ends Season By Being Shut Out Again — Cooperstown Sports news

ABERDEEN, SD Before their last nine matches of 2026, Jamestown Jimmies Women s Soccer was in contention for an NSIC Tournament berth. But the Jimmies went winless in all of those nine, including being shut out in their last five.  That included a 2-0 loss to Northern State Thursday at NSU s Athletic Recreation Fields. Deshani Peters first goal of the season, just 1:09 before halftime, was all that was needed for Northern State (10-4-3, 9-3-3 NSIC).  Ella Blake set a cross from the right corner of the box to Peters, who hit a mid-air volley into the top left corner of the goal. NSU scored again in the 87th minute on the sixth goal of the season by Jaylee Hofer. Jamestown (4-10-4, 4-8-3) was limited to three shots and only one on net.  Northern State fired 11 shots, six of which were on goal.  Goalkeeper Taylor Musser made four saves in the UJ goal.
