MONTEVIDEO, Minn. — Agents with the CEE-VI Drug Task Force in west central Minnesota had been seizing anywhere from 10 to 15 pounds of methamphetamine every year until 2020, when they seized 57.7 pounds of the illegal substance. Then, in 2025, agents were part of an operation that netted just shy of 698 pounds with one traffic stop. The agents suspect that possibly another 300 pounds of methamphetamine slipped away that day in another vehicle, task force representatives told the Chippewa County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 20. The June 3, 2025, operation was the largest methamphetamine seizure in the counties served by the drug task force: Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Swift and Yellow Medicine. Marysol Rodriguez-Lagarda and Levelle Lee Anderson Jr. are charged in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The CEE-VI remains a busy group as the flow of drugs continues into the region,
